How Do I Become a Member of Learning for Life Center's Platinum Credit Services?

It's EASY to become a member go to our home page click on "Get Started" complete the contact information and then print out the "Required Disclosures". You can mail, fax, or email your signed disclosure to Learning for Life Center.

Membership dues are $399 for a 6 month term. You must be an active member in constant contact with your credit coach during the entire term to be considered a member. Your membership dues should be made payable to Learning for Life Center via money order or certified check to:

How Does Platinum Credit Services Improve My Credit Score?

Platinum Credit Services utilize disputes based on the Fair Credit Reporting Act to delete untimely, inaccurate, misleading or unverified information from your credit reports. Once we have received your credit reports we can begin the process of disputing inaccurate items. But we don't stop there we will also work to dispute directly with creditors and/or settle delinquent verified accounts. Then we work with you to rebuild your credit file to give you a fresh start.

In the first step we will dispute inaccurate items on your credit report within about 30 days an updated credit report will be sent to your home indicating any deletions or improvements as a result of the credit bureaus investigation. You will forward the credit report you receive to Learning for Life Center. We will review this information and create a "Step 2" which includes settlements, direct creditor disputes, and a plan of action. At this time we typically begin the rebuilding process.

Please note for an account to remain on your credit report it must be accurate, verifiable and timely. The credit bureau may update the item to reflect the correct status if the listing is inaccurate, or it may be deleted if they are unable to verify with the creditor the information that is being disputed. The credit bureaus are given namely 30 days to investigate any disputed items on your credit report and forward you the results.

How Long Does It Take To Improve My Credit Score?

This is the Number one question of all consumers, but the answer is impossible to determine. Each individual credit report and situation is unique and the plan of action is tailored to each person's credit needs and abilities. The typical time frame on average has been 60 days, but credit is an ongoing process and through time the rewards get better.

Please note your results depend on your participation, determination, and taking the steps recommended. Also it is very important that you forward any updates from the credit bureaus to Learning for Life Center via fax, email, or snail mail, in a timely manner!

What If A Deleted Item Reappears On My Credit Report?

On a few occasions, a negative item that was deleted from your credit report may become verified by the creditor. If a creditor verifies the information they can report it. There is not common, but does happen. If this happens we dispute directly with the creditor to get it resolved.

I Started To Get Collection Notices In The Mail Since I Disputed Items On My Credit Report. What Do I Do?

When you dispute items on your credit report if the creditor is able to verify the information they at times will mail you information regarding the account so that it can be handled. If this information is not accurate we will then have the contact information for the collection agency that currently has your account and will use that to dispute directly with the creditor. If the information is verified and you find that it is accurate we will work together using that information in our plan of action. Please forward a copy of any collection notices to Learning for Life Center.

Should I Pay Off Collection Accounts?

Paying off collection accounts is not always the best recommendation during the process of improving your credit score. Your platinum credit services coach will direct you in regards to each collection account. Please note we do not advocate not paying bills, we do however have a plan of action on what steps to take at specific times. Most important in this process is being current on your active good standing accounts.

Do I Need To Review My Credit Reports?

You will receive up todate information on your credit reports from the credit bureaus during the dispute process reviewing that information for yourself is recommended, but Platinum Credit Services will review that information for you and will prepare detailed results in an easy to read format, followed by a plan of action. Do You Guarantee Your Credit Improving Services? It is important to understand that there are no guarantees when it comes to credit repair. Any credit repair company that guarantees success is most likely being dishonest with you. We will work hard to achieve results. Most importantly we teach you how to maintain getting results throughout your lifetime.

Can I Improve My Own Credit?

Yes you can improve your own credit profile and scores, however credit improvement is complex and having a team of professionals that have the knowledge base to improve credit scores will save you time and headaches.

It is crucial that you forward your credit reports to Learning for Life Center as soon as you receive them from the credit bureaus. Your most current credit reports assist us in the progress of your credit repair and achieving maximum results in the fast time possible.
